Hong Kong - Disneyland ~ Charm's Travel Journal

Hong Kong is only few hours flight away from Manila, Philippines. One of the main tourist attractions in Hong Kong is Hong Kong Disneyland, the closest Disneyland in Asia. Hong Kong Disneyland is located on reclaimed land in Penny's Bay, Lantau Island. It is the first theme park located inside the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort and is owned and managed by the Hong Kong International Theme Parks.

Just arrived at Hong Kong airport. On our way to get our luggage. Train interval is 2 minutes only.

We took a cab from Hong Kong airport to Hong Kong Disneyland. The fare is about HK $100-115. That was about P500-600 Philippine peso.

Travel time from Hong Kong airport to Hong Kong Disneyland is approximately 20-30minutes.

It's every child's dream to go to Disneyland. I dreamed the same when I was little, I'm really happy when I first came to Hong Kong particularly Disneyland. Though I've been to Hong Kong, Disneyland twice, I still want to come back. This place made me feel like I was a child again, really had so much fun.

This is the ticket booth for buying your tickets

*For In-transits passengers - Get your in-transit easy pass to Hong Kong Disneyland for just HK $230

This is applicable to any passengers arriving and departing Hong Kong on the same day, by flight, they can purchase the In-Transit Easy Pass for just HK $230 and save up to 40%. From January 1 until March 31,2013 only. Upon arrival to the park, make your way to Guest Relations, located to the left side of the Main Entrance. Present a valid Boarding Pass and Passport for your special priced ticket. You can also leave your luggage on their luggage area to enjoy your day at the park. Luggage fee applies.

This is the view that will welcome you at the main entrance. A beautiful garden designed with the face of main character of Disneyland, Mickey Mouse and behind that is the Disneyland Railway Station. That we will ride later.

If in case you got lost or wanted to go into a certain area but doesn't know how to go to, don't worry Maps are placed in designated areas and there are also booths where you can get your own map for free.

They also have a First aid and Baby care center and the place where you can find your Lost Children.

Give it a ride on these paddy wagon, main street police department or use the main street transportation for a comfortable ride and a tour in the park.

First on my list is to try the Disneyland Railroad

I want to ride the train first to get a glimpse of what's inside Disneyland.

Waiting for the train to arrive together with these people eager and excited to ride as well.

This is it!!! I decided to ride on the last part of the train since only few are sitting there. I can take a nice photo and video.

These are just few of the photos and can be seen during your ride on Disneyland Railroad. I decided to take a personal video instead since some areas have moving characters and with some story as well.

This is the next stop, The Fantasy Land. Welcoming those who wants to come and have a ride.

Halloween theme of Hong Kong Disneyland

After a tiring day of walking, rides and picture taking, we need to fill-in our empty stomach. There are wide choices of restaurants that you can go to. You can also see in you map where you can find these restaurants and corner cafe's.

This is what I really want to try, Mickey Mouse Pancake!!!

It taste so good, Mickey Mouse pancake with cream and maple syrup... Yummy!!!

I really like it, feels like I want to eat more... LOL!

Here are some of my photos with Disney Characters. If you want to have a photo with all the Disney Characters, you should start it early because their is always a long queue in every character. So, patience is really needed with this one.
